God Of War Photo Mode Is Live

Finally, boy, Photo Mode is available in God of War. The critically acclaimed reboot of SIE Santa Monica Studio’s God of War franchise didn’t launch with a Photo Mode unlike its other first-party brethren Horizon: Zero Dawn and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy.

The Photo Mode feature has been present in most Sony first-party games due to its massive graphical fidelity, and it was kind of awkward that this was initially left out from God of War (2018). The community requested for it and SIE Santa Monica Studio listened.

According to Jeet Schroff, the Engineer Lead over at SIE Santa Monica Studio, that the Photo Mode feature can be accessed either from the Option menu or by activating the Touch Pad Quick Access via settings. There are also five tabs while the mode is active that would give players variety of options to get that perfect picture.

    • Camera: Adjust the Field of View, Focal Length, and Camera Roll.
    • Aperture: Adjust the Depth of Field, Focus Distance, and F-Stop.
    • Filters: Adjust the Film Grain, Exposure, Filter, and Filter Intensity options.
    • Borders: Add a Vignette and adjust the Vignette Intensity, and Vignette Falloff. This includes a variety of Border styles and the official God of War logo.
    • Characters: Toggle the visibility of Kratos, Atreus, and all other characters in the scene. And my personal favorite, we’ve added the ability to change Kratos and Atreus’s facial expressions![/alert]

God of War is available on PS4. Read our very own review right here.
