Google Begins Stadia Refunds for its Consumers

Google has now started the process of refunding all customers who purchased Stadia.

Customers who purchased Stadia hardware, games, and in-game purchases will be refunded soon by Google. The company hopes that it could complete this noteworthy task by January 18, 2023, which is the date it will shut down the servers of Stadia forever.

Google has now created a FAQ page and is still building upon it for customers to check out. They are now advised to wait for them to fully populate the page with all the important information they might want to answer their inquiries.

There is only one part of the purchases that Google will keep aside from the rest. Google will not refund the Stadia Pro subscription.

The refunds will be processed and paid to the customer’s payment service to pay for them. If that method fails, Google will contact the customer. Also, take note that customer support will not help.

“We ask for your patience as we work through each transaction and that you refrain from contacting Customer Support as they will not be able to expedite your refund during this time.”

Customers will be notified of the successful refunds by individual emails or in bulk detailing all refunded costs.
