Developer Polyphony Digital has detailed today what’s to come with the release of Update 1.13 for their game, Gran Turismo 7. The free update will be applied on April 25th, 2022.

As for the contents of the content, there will be an addition of three new cars, including the 2021 Super GT Champion. The 24-hour layout of Spa-Franchorchamps is also set to premiere in the update. And lastly, The “Gassho-style Houses in Ainokura” and “Cherry Blossoms at Night” are set to join the featured section of Scapes.

The following is a list of what’s new:

Three new cars, including the 2021 Super GT Champion

    Subaru BRZ GT300 ’21

    Subaru BRZ S ’21

    Suzuki Cappuccino (EA11R) ’91

    The 24-Hour layout of Spa-Francorchamps

    • Total Length: 7,0004 meters
    • Elevation Change: 104 meters
    • Number of corners: 21 turns
    • Longest Straight: 751.84 meters

The Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium is one of the most famous international tracksin Europe. New with this update is the 24 hour layout, which will join the full track layout. the biggest difference between the two is the location of the pit facility. On the full-track layout, the pit is ahead of Turn 1, with a long pit road. When leaving pit row, the driver will travel alongside the famed S-curve before merging onto the track at the Kemmel Straight. This pit road is narrow and curved, requiring drivers to carefully stay within the white lines to avoid penalties.

Gran Turismo 7 April Update Gassho Style Houses

World Heritage Site: Gassho-style Houses in Ainokura

The Gokayama region in Toyama Prefecture is known for its gassho-style houses, remnants of an ancient style of Japanese architecture. Twenty of these houses remain in Ainokura village, keeping the old mountain lifestyle alive in the present day. In 1995, the gassho-style villages of Gokayama and the Shirakawa region in Gifu Prefecture were designated a UNESCO World Heritage site.

    Araiyakushi-mae “Cherry Blossoms at Night”

Araiyakushi-mae Station is located a few kilometers to the northwest of Shinjuku. The station was named after a nearby temple, Araiyakushi Baishoin, which stands to the southwest. To the west of the station is Nakano-dori, a street lined by cherry blossom trees. Visitors flock here in early spring, hoping to capture a shot of a train passing through the blossoms.
