Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick has recently shared a statement that could hint at the possibility of Grand Theft Auto 6 release date and its big reveal.
Rockstar Games did confirm in the past that Grand Theft Auto 6 is in development, but it has halted giving any information or updates about it. No one really knows what is currently the situation in the development side of things, and the only official information that everyone knows is that GTA 6 is coming in the future. This new leak might give fans a clue though.
A new leak has been making rounds online due to its supposed “source”. The leaker claims that this new information comes from a leaked voice memo from Take-Two boss Strauss Zelnick himself. The memo revealed that the game will be revealed and announced very soon with the official release window. It claims that the game will finally be revealed to the public in October 2023, which is soon and then that it will be launched sometime in October 2024.
While some fans are really hopeful that this voice memo is real, others are very suspicious of it. First and foremost, they think that this memo was created by AI as this “Zelnick” pronounced the Roman number “VI” as “vee-eye” instead of six. Others are also saying that the fans are misinterpreting this leaked information, but still see this an important clue of the possible release window and its big reveal.
Either way, take this new leak with a very small grain of salt for now.
