Several individuals have confirmed that the first multiplayer technical preview of Halo Infinite will be happening this coming weekend.
Media outlet Eurogamer confirmed by their sources that got the emails that game developer 343 will be doing the preview runs starting tomorrow, July 29 to August 1, 2021.
The media outlet revealed that the email has the instructions on how to download the pre-release build. It will be sent in the next few days via email and Waypoint message. This means it will only be exclusive to them, but we should be getting some details afterwards.
The technical preview will focus on bots and the Academy’s weapon drills. Halo Infinite will be the franchise’s first title to have multiplayer bots. With the technical previews, 343 Industries will gather information to check on the bot behavior and online performance.
The results of the investigation from the previews will then be used for the Bot Arena playlist. Four players will be fighting against four bots on arena maps. The technical preview will use three maps: Bazaar, Recharge, and Live Fire.
Halo Infinite technical preview will be happening tonight, July 28, 2021 at 2 PM PT.
