Halo Infinite has been hailed as the winner of the Players’ Voice of The Game Awards 2021.
The Game Awards 2021 is just a few hours away and its audience has already chosen their winner in one of its categories that they have the power to choose from. The Players Voice is done by public vote and this time around it was won by Halo Infinite, which could not be nominated for the main awards since it could not make to the cut-off date for nominations.
There were three rounds of voting and the final five included Halo Infinite, Forza Horizon 5, Resident Evil Village, It Takes Two, and Metroid Dread. Halo Infinite won by a big margin, but it would seem to be based on the experience on the multiplayer aspect of the game since the campaign content was just recently released.
There were some people who complained that Halo Infinite and Returnal did not get nominated in the Game of the Year category, but at least in this Players’ Voice, the former won. The GOTY category nominees right now include It Takes Two, Deathloop, Metroid Dread, Resident Evil Village, Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, and Psychonauts 2.
Congratulations Halo Infinite for winning the hearts of the public!
