Crossed Wands: Round 2 is one of the side quests that players can complete in Hogwarts Legacy. In this side quest, players get to participate in another round of Crossed Duels as they face against more skillful students in a duel of spells. Players also get a chance to play along with a companion, or take on all of the opponents alone.

How to unlock Crossed Wands: Round 2 side quest
To unlock the Crossed Wands: Round 2 side quest, you must first start Professor Hecat’s Assignment 1 main quest. During that quest, you’ll be required by Professor Hecat to win two rounds of Crossed Wands duels. This main quest unlocks the Spell Combination Practice 1 side quest with Lucan which you must complete first to unlock the Crossed Wands: Round 2 side quest.
You will only need to win one, which is the duel for this side quest, since your first Crossed Wands duel will already be counted. The levels of your opponents will scale depending on your current level.

Head over to the South Wing again and talk to Lucan Brattleby to start the side quest.
Talk to Lucan Brattleby
Go to the Clock Tower Entrance of the South Wing and talk to Lucan once more to participate in the next round of duel. You’ll be asked if you want to duel with a partner or just duel on your own. The duel can be played solo, but you can choose to duel with either Natsai Onai or Sebastian Sallow as your companion.
In the first round, Sebastian Sallow knows the Levioso spell which is helpful in dispelling yellow shields and keeping the enemy disabled for a few moments. His other spells include Diffindo and Confringo. On the other hand, you can duel with Natsai Onai equally well as she knows the Descendo spell which will be helpful in this particular round. Her other spells include Arresto Momentum and Expelliarmus.
It will be a slightly unfair round as you and your partner will be facing against three students. Two of the students will be using violet shields, while the other one will be using a yellow shield. Force spells like Accio or Descendo can dispel the violet shields, so you can either fight along with Sebastian as you cast Accio on your violet shield opponents, or fight with Natsai and cast Levioso on the yellow shield user.
