Hogwarts Legacy Flight Test Side Quest Walkthrough

Flight Test is one of the side quests that players can complete in Hogwarts Legacy. Albie Weekes requires some assistance in gathering some data on how he can improve the performance of the brooms that he’s selling.

How to unlock Flight Test Side Quest

To unlock the Flight Test side quest, you must first complete the Flying Class main quest.

Flight Test Objectives

Purchase a broom at Spintwitches
Speak with Imelda Reyes at the Quidditch pitch
Place in the Quidditch pitch Broom Trial
Return to Albie Weekes

Flight Test side quest Walkthrough

After completing the required quest, Albie Weekes will be available to talk to in Spintwitches at Hogsmeade to start the quest.

Purchase a broom at Spintwitches

Purchase any of the brooms that you like in the shop. Albie will then offer you some upgrades if you can help him collect data by conducting a flight test. He’ll ask you to meet with Imelda Reyes to help you out with the flight test.

Speak with Imelda Reyes at the Quidditch pitch

Head over to the Quidditch pitch to talk to Imelda Reyes. She’ll allow you to fly through the course and challenge you to beat her time.

Place in the Quidditch pitch Broom Trial

You then need to go through the course as fast as possible to be able to beat Imelda’s record. The course has 22 rings that you need to go through all across the course and each ring that you miss will cost you an additional 3 seconds penalty to your total clear time. There are yellow boost orbs that you can pass through to fill up your boost meter.

The strategy to get through the course fast is to make minor adjustments when turning and only boost up when you’re sure that the front tip of your broom is aimed through the ring.
