Prisoner of Love is one of the house-exclusive side quests that players can complete in Hogwarts Legacy. This quest is exclusive only to students of House Hufflepuff and will have them visit a prisoner in Azkaban who was accused of Richard Jackdaw’s murder.

How to unlock Prisoner of Love Hufflepuff House Exclusive Quest
To unlock the Prisoner of Love quest, you must first complete the Trials of Merlin main quest and reach level 5. This quest can only be done by students who got sorted in Hufflepuff.
All the exclusive quests of the four houses will lead to the Jackdaw’s Rest main quest.

Prisoner of Love Hufflepuff House Exclusive Quest Walkthrough
After clearing the required quest, head over to the Hufflepuff common room where Eldritch Diggory will be available for the quest.
Speak to the Portrait for Eldritch Diggory
Go to the Hufflepuff common room and talk to the portrait of Eldritch Diggory. He needs your help in solving a murder case and asks you to visit his great-niece Helen Thistlewood to gather more information about it.
Speak to Helen Thistlewood
Follow the marker to Upper Hogsmeade where you’ll meet Helen. She then shares the case about Richard Jackdaw’s death and the fate of Anne who was accused as Richard’s murderer. She then agrees to escort you to Azkaban to be able to speak to Anne to gather more information from her.
Speak to Anne in Azkaban
You then arrive in Azkaban and get to talk to Anne. She then leaves a cryptic clue about a cave in Upper Hogsfield. After your conversation, Anne calls upon Helen and attacks her, causing Helen to retreat from Azkaban with you.
Find what Jackdaw left for Anne
Follow the marker that will lead to a cave in Upper Hogsfield. Go inside until you arrive at a chamber with a closed gate and handles on both sides.
To open this gate, cast Revelio inside the room to reveal which of the handles you should pull that will remove the bars of the gate. There are three handles to be pulled on each side of the gate.
Go inside the next room to find the note Jackdaw has left for Anne.
Leave the Vault
As you exit the vault, Richard Jackdaw will appear in front of you. He then learns what happened to Anne from you. He offers his help to locate the missing book pages that you need and invites to meet you at the edge of the Forbidden Forest once you’re ready.
