    Hogwarts Legacy Scrope’s Last Hope – Slytherin House Exclusive Quest Walkthrough

    Scrope’s Last Hope is one of the house-exclusive side quests that players can complete in Hogwarts Legacy. This quest is exclusive only to students of House Slytherin and will have them look for a ring that Richard Jackdaw took.

    Read ahead as we go through the steps on how to complete the Scrope’s Last Hope exclusive quest in Hogwarts Legacy.

    How to unlock Scrope’s Last Hope Slytherin House Exclusive Quest

    To unlock the Scrope’s Last Hope quest, you must first complete the Trials of Merlin main quest and reach level 5. This quest can only be done by students who got sorted in Slytherin.

    All the exclusive quests of the four houses will lead to the Jackdaw’s Rest main quest.

    Scrope’s Last Hope Objectives

    • Find Scrope’s note in the courtyard
    • Search for the next note
    • Search the pumpkin patch for another note
    • Meet Scrope at the water’s edge
    • Investigate the Grotto
    • Return to Scrope

    Scrope’s Last Hope Slytherin House Exclusive Quest Walkthrough

    After completing the required quest, you’ll receive a letter from a house-elf named Scrope which will start the quest.

    Find Scrope’s note in the courtyard

    First, you need to go to the Clock Tower Courtyard and approach the statue in the middle to find the first note.

    Search for the next note

    Head over to the next location near the Hogwarts South Exit Floo Flame. To the left, cast Accio to pull the box near the tall boulder to reach the next note.

    Search the pumpkin patch for another note

    Follow the next marker down into the pumpkin patch and you can use Revelio to locate which pumpkin has the note, then break the pumpkin to get the note.

    Meet Scrope at the water’s edge

    Follow the next marker to meet up with Scrope. He needs your help to recover a ring that is hidden inside the Grotto of his late mistress. He also gives you a toast that you’ll need to gain access to the Grotto.

    Investigate the Grotto

    Follow the coastline to the next marker to reach the Grotto. Place the toast on the pedestal to open the path inside the Grotto.

    Inside the Grotto, inspect Apollonia Black’s Journal to start a cutscene. You’ll meet Richard Jackdaw, but he no longer has the ring as he already sold it. He then tells you about the pages that you’re looking for and tells you to meet him at the edge of the Forbidden Forest once you’re ready.

    Return to Scrope

    Speak to Scrope once again to tell him what you found out. After the conversation, you’ll complete the quest.

    Scrope’s Last Hope Rewards

    After completing the quest, you will be rewarded with the following:

    • 260 XP
