Summoner’s Court: Match 1 is one of the side quests available for players in Hogwarts Legacy. Leander wants to bring the challenge over to the Summoner’s Court to see who is the better student.

Go to the Summoner’s Court board

Head over to the Summoner’s Court board at the Bell Tower Wing and talk to Leander Prewett. Leander will challenge you to a game of Summoner’s Court.

Summoner’s Court is a game where you pull a ball across the board using the Accio spell to earn points. The closer you pull a ball to the end of the board without it falling off the board, the higher your score will be. You and your opponent will be sharing the same board, so your balls will be in each others’ way. There are also some obstacles scattered across the board which may make pulling the balls harder.

You both have three balls to pull across the board and both of you take turns to pull one of your own ball from the starting point. The playing board is divided into five sections, with the farthest section from you giving 10 points, and the closest one giving 50 points, with increments of 10 for the middle sections. You can gain a maximum of 150 points for all three tries if you get all three balls to land on the blue 50-point section.

You will need to win against Leander to complete the quest. You can try the game as many times as you need to.

    Summoner’s Court Strategies

Since you’ll be going second for this match, try to find a good angle to pull your ball, preferably an angle where you have a clear path.

Once you have chosen an angle, cast Accio on the target ball then keep pulling all the way until you reach the green 40-point section. The ball is quite heavy and has some momentum, so stopping a bit late may cause it to roll off the board.

You can also play offensively and make your ball bump your opponent’s ball off the board, causing them to lose points. Be careful as a wrong push might instead nudge their ball to a higher scoring section.

    Summoner’s Court: Match 1 Rewards

After completing the quest, you will be rewarded with the following:

    • 180 XP
