How to get Final Warning in Destiny 2 Lightfall

The Lightfall expansion has released with it one of the deadliest weapons called Final Warning in Destiny 2. This exotic sidearm is the first of its kind, allowing what is essentially auto-aim under the right conditions. Players are both in awe and terrified at what this weapon means for Crucible matches.

So how do you get the Final Warning in Destiny 2? And what is this weapon good for? Here’s what you need to know.

How to get the Final Warning in Destiny 2 Lightfall?

You have to complete The Final Strand quest to get the Final Warning exotic sidearm in Destiny 2 Lightfall. This quest requires that you look for specific items at the Veil Containment area of Neomuna.

It’s pretty tricky to get The Final Strand missions as it has some pretty heavy requirements. This quest cannot be taken until you have completed all the Lightfall story missions. It’s only then that you’ll be able to unlock the Strand subclass to use whenever you want outside of the Lightfall expansion. Then, you have to purchase all the fragments, aspects, and grenades for one of your Strand subclasses using Strand Meditations. It’s only after completing all of these that you’re finally able to start The Final Strand quest from the Pouka Pond in Neomuna.

Despite the heavy list of requirements to even get started on the quest, it is entirely worth it to go through it to get the Final Warning in Destiny 2. This weapon can automatically mark your targets and then fire bullets that track those marked targets. Any marked target hit with its fully charged burst will unravel.

Final Warning in Destiny 2 Lightfall stat

After completing The Final Strand quest, you’ll be rewarded with The Final Warning exotic sidearm. What’s interesting is that this weapon wasn’t intended to be coming out at least a few weeks into the Season of Defiance. Since you needed to unlock all the Fragments for one Strand subclass, it was impossible to do so because they were time gated. Bungie released an update that allows you to purchase Strand Fragments after negative reception.

So now you can get The Final Warning in Destiny 2 for yourself without any strings attached.

What is the Final Warning in Destiny 2?

Final Warning is an exotic kinetic sidearm that gives you the unique feature of automatically marking targets in range. Hip firing at marked targets will fire bullets that track them dealing body shots. Aiming down sights before firing will give projectiles increased velocity and increased critical damage if they’re marked.

    Final Warning Stats

    • Type: Sidearm
    • Rarity: Exotic
    • RPM: 450
    • Intrinsic Trait: All At Once – Holding down the trigger mark the targets within range and loads multiple bullets, which fire in a burst with increased stability on trigger releases. Hitting a marked target with a fully charged burst will unravel them.

That’s how to get the Final Warning in Destiny 2 Lightfall. We hope you manage to acquire this exotic before Bungie inevitably nerfs it due to how it’s essentially auto aim with high damage.
