How to Get the Pulse Rifle in Remnant 2

The Pulse Rifle in Remnant 2 is the starting weapon for the Engineer Subclass and one of the best long guns to use in the game. Procedural world generation can be a tough mechanic for some players, and certain items may be difficult to come by. The Pulse Rifle is no exception. While gaining access to the Engineer will grant you this weapon, players who don’t wish to start a new character can still find the Pulse Rifle separately.

Remnant 2: How to Get the Pulse Rifle

To obtain the Pulse Rifle in Remnant 2, begin by heading over to the Abyssal Rift area, where you can find The Custodian. Once you’ve arrived at the entrance of the tower, go to your left and drop down on a small hole, which leads to a hidden chamber. Once inside, you’ll find a vendor in the middle. Take the elevator to the right, and this will lead you to another chamber where you will find a console in the middle that’s emitting a purple barrier.

From here, you need to remove the barrier and get the Pulse Rifle by inserting 2 key items into the console in the middle. The key items needed are:

    • Decorum Cipher – can be found at Terminus Station.
    • Memory Core II – can be found at Dormant N’Erudian Facility

You need these quest items in order for the Pulse Rifle Rifle to spawn; however, they can be difficult to obtain since you need both areas to spawn correctly. If you can’t seem to get the locations you need, you might want to reroll your campaign or play more adventure mode until you do.
