Elsa in Disney Dreamlight Valley is one of the characters you can hang out with. This icy queen of Arendelle needs your help to recover from the Forgetting which has been plaguing the residents of this world. This guide will help you to unlock Elsa and invite her over the Valley with you.

How to Unlock Elsa in Disney Dreamlight Valley?

You have to tackle both Anna and Elsa’s quest to unlock Elsa and get her to come to with you in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Once you arrive in the Frozen Realm, the sisters will give you a few quests which you need to complete. Elsa will agree to go back to the Valley with her sister once you fix up their home in the Forest of Valor.

After finishing their questlines, Elsa will ask you to make Wind Chimes in order to calm the Wind Spirit. Here is what you’ll need:

  • Twine x3
  • Softwood x15
  • Iron Ingots x3

Once you’ve made the Wind Chimes and delivered it back to Elsa, she’ll agree to go back to the Valley. With her sister Anna tagging along, you’ve officially unlocked Elsa in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

You’ll find Elsa to be very useful. Once you unlock her, she’ll give you the ability to destroy Ice Shards. This will help clear a path as Ice Shards usually block cave entrances and paths to treasures.

Of course before you can unlock Elsa, you have to first know how to get to the Frozen Realm. And then you have to know how to get to the Forest of Valor before you can access their homes. Only then will Elsa agree to come with you.

How to Unlock Elsa in Disney Dreamlight Valley Frozen Realm

How to Get to the Frozen Realm in Disney Dreamlight Valley?

Elsa can be found in the Frozen Realm. In order to get to the Frozen Realm in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you must first unlock the The Dream Castle quest. Afterwards you need to spend 4,000 Dreamlight to unlock the door that leads to the Frozen Realm on the second floor.

Since the castle entrance is covered in Night Thorn, you’ll have to first remove it. This requires that you complete at least 3 Dreamlight duties and have 10,000 Dreamlight to do. You’ll also need to have found all the Royal Tools before you can enter the Dream Castle.

Once you’re inside, Merlin will ask you a question about which world you want to visit first. None of these answers lead to Elsa or Anna so it doesn’t matter what you answer. Head up the stairs and go to the door in the middle. You’ll need 4,000 Dreamlight to unlock the door to the Frozen Realm.

Forest of Valor How to Unlock Elsa in Disney Dreamlight Valley

How to Get to the Forest of Valor in Disney Dreamlight Valley?

You need to use 3,000 Dreamlight to unlock Forest of Valor. However, you first need to complete Friendship Is Everything from Merlin which requires that you get at least 3 level 5 Friendships from people around the Valley.

Since Elsa and Anna live in the Forest of Valor, you first need to unlock the location in order to get them to come back because you can’t get to it in the beginning of the game. Even if you manage to enter the Frozen Realm and complete Elsa’s questline, she won’t agree to go back with you until you have access to the forest.

You don’t need to access Dazzle Beach to get to Forest of Valor. Although you need to reach Rank 5 for at least three friends before it’ll even open. Here’s where you’ll have to grind for gifts to give to Mickey, Goofy, Merlot, or Scrooge to rank up their friendship levels fast.

Disney Dreamlight Valley Elsa Friendship Unlocks

After Elsa has settled in the Valley, you can now give her gifts to strengthen your friendship with her. Doing this will reward you with unlocks that you can use for yourself. Here are all the unlocks you get from Elsa by raising her friendship level:

  • Friendship Level 1: Unlocks ability to destroy Ice Shards in the Village.
  • Friendship Level 2: Unlocks a Frozen hairstyle.
  • Friendship Level 3: Unlocks Snowflake wall decoration.
  • Friendship Level 4: Unlocks 500 Star Coins.
  • Friendship Level 5: Unlocks Elsa’s Gloves.
  • Friendship Level 6: Unlocks Elsa’s Outfit Overlay.
  • Friendship Level 7: Unlocks 1,000 Star Coins.
  • Friendship Level 8: Unlocks Frozen Elsa Throne furniture.
  • Friendship Level 9: Unlocks Horse Outfit Overlay.
  • Friendship Level 10: Unlocks Elsa’s Dress.

Unlocking Elsa automatically places you at Friendship Level 1. However you need to complete all of Elsa’s friendship quests before you can reach Level 10.
