“Is Hitman 3 on Xbox Game Pass?” Well we’re here to answer whatever inquiry you may have. The final installment of the Hitman trilogy is set to leave its exclusivity rights for the Epic Game Store next week.
Down below we’ll give you all the details on the upcoming Hitman 3 and if it’s included for Xbox Game Pass subscribers.
Is Hitman 3 on Xbox Game Pass?
Yes, Hitman 3 will be available for Game Pass subscribers with no additional costs. So if you’re subscribed to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, or Xbox Game Pass you are pretty much guaranteed to get Hitman 3.
This also includes the Hitman Trilogy. IO Interactive will be bundling all three Hitman games for you to play on Game Pass. So that is some bang for your buck.
When Will Hitman 3 Release on Xbox Game Pass?
Hitman 3 will be coming to Xbox Game Pass on January 20th, 2022, along with all three World of Assassination games. In addition, Hitman 3 will be released on Steam at the same time. And that isn’t all too. You’ll also be able to experience the previous two installments completely in VR on PC.
What is Hitman 3?
Hitman 3 is a tactical stealth-action game that places you into the shoes of one of gaming’s most iconic assassins. Agent 47 is a virtuoso in the art of assassination and prides perfection in his work.
In Hitman 3, you’ll explore several biomes taking advantage of the environment and any equipment you scoured up to get to your targets. I had the pleasure of playing Hitman 3 on its release. And on my Hitman 3 review I had nothing but positive things to say about it.
Hitman 3 Year 2 Details
Hitman 3 Year 2 or the second year of DLC for the Hitman trilogy includes some excellent aesthetic updates to the game’s visuals, such as ray-tracing improvements, Intel XeSS support, and variable rate shading as revealed by developer IO Interactive. And it includes a whole new level and a fascinating new roguelike mode called Freelancer, among 3 other new game modes.
What Are Hitman 3’s New Game Modes?
Hitman 3 will be getting 2 new game modes:
Elusive Target Arcade – we all know how intimidating Elusive Targets can be. Mess up once and you’re chance is gone for good. Elusive Target Arcade alleviates the tension a bit by giving you permanent contracts added to the game. Unlike regular Elusive Targets which are gone for good if you mess up, Elusive Target Arcade allows to you try again after 12 hours.
Freelancer – in this new mode, you’re given a customizable Safehouse where you can plan out missions and choose what equipment to bring. Freelancer contains roguelike elements so any equipment you bring with you will be lost. However you’ll be able to purchase new weapons and equipment from Suppliers located in mission areas.
Just because IO Interactive released Hitman 3 a year ago doesn’t mean you’re not getting any new content. The developers have released their plans for the upcoming Year 2 of Hitman 3 and it’s starting to look pretty good.
I did state out on my review that longevity was a bit of a problem for Hitman 3 and these new game modes add some much needed content to keep players coming back.
New Map for Hitman 3
A new map is also being introduced for Hitman 3. What we know so far, it’s being referred to as “Rocky.”
Ray Tracing for Hitman 3
Hitman 3 is already a gorgeous game. The inclusion of a ray-tracing feature only adds more to its already charming allure. From the top of Dubai towers to the neon lit streets of China, enjoy the next level of visual graphics thanks to ray-tracing technology.
IO Interactive has expressed plans to harness Xe Super Sampling to be able to boost gameplay performance. So experience ray-tracing in the World of Assassination without putting too much stress on your hardware.
VR Compatibility on PC for Hitman 3
With two-handed VR controller compatibility, PC gamers will be able to play the whole Hitman trilogy in virtual reality starting on January 20th, making fist-fighting, throwing projectiles, and holding firearms all possible.
Hitman 3 Trinity Pack
HITMAN 3’s Trinity Pack contains new items that can be used. It’s all inspired by the World of Assassination trilogy, with each item bearing a distinct design cue.
Three outfits, three guns, and three briefcases are included in the Trinity Pack, which is a collection of nine digital in-game items that are inspired by all three games in the World of Assassination trilogy.
You can purchase the Trinity Pack separately through the Xbox Store if you purchase a copy of the game.
And that’s everything you need to know about Hitman 3 Year 2 and Hitman 3 being on Game Pass. With its new features along with IO Interactive bundling all three of the World of Assassination games, there’s never been a better time to subscribe to Xbox Game Pass.
