Jorums Claw God Roll – Iron Banner Season 20 Guide

Here's what you need to know about the god rolls for the Jorum's Claw pulse rifle

The Jorums Claw Pulse Rifle is a refurbished weapon that replaced Frontier’s Cry / Razor’s Edge in the Iron Banner loot rotation. It’s gotten a new lineup of perks including the versatile Incandescent perk in the 4th column and the Origin Trait Skulking Wolf.

The weapon is a 390 RPM Adaptive Frame Solar pulse rifle. And while the weapon itself doesn’t stand out in terms of base stats, it does feel great in PvP with its potential to 2-burst Guardians rather effectively.

Jorums Claw Base Stats

These are the weapon’s stats before any perks are applied:

  • Impact: 29
  • Range: 49
  • Stability: 50
  • Handling: 44
  • Reload Speed: 43
  • Zoom: 17
  • Rounds Per Minute: 390
  • Magazine: 38

Base stability and zoom are decent for this weapon type. Though you won’t be winning any duels in close range as body shots TTK values are horrible with adaptive frames. Your best shot at winning a duel is to play around cover and hope that you are outside the range of any Immortal SMG.

Where to Get Jorums Claw

The Jorum’s Claw pulse rifle is a potential drop after completing a match of Iron Banner – on the condition that you’ve already acquired the weapon beforehand. You are guaranteed a roll of this weapon after reaching Rank 7 with Lord Saladin.

You can farm for different rolls of the unlocked weapon in exchange for:

  • 1 Iron Engram
  • 25 Legendary Shards
  • 20,000 Glimmer

Jorums Claw God Roll for PvP & PvE

Jorum’s Claw does something really well, and that’s staying consistent throughout. It is a solid weapon no matter what perks you decide to run with. Even Iron Grip is somewhat useful despite the reduction in reload speed. Even the reward track Jorums Claw with Moving Target and Incandescent is really fun to use. (I just really like scorched explosions after defeating opposing Guardians.)

For the God Roll, you are most likely going to go for Hammer-forged Rifling for more range in the first column. Polygonal rifling works too if you want that increase to that all-important Stability stat. Due keep in mind that you’ll be missing 1.5 meters in range if you go for stability. In the second column, you’ll want to go for Ricochet Rounds. I’ve also become a fan of High-Caliber Rounds on this weapon. Guardians hit by High-Caliber Rounds will get a heavy dose of flinch, which affects their aim.

PvP God Roll

The first combination that’s worth pursuing in PvP is Moving Target + Head Seeker. Moving Target allows you to be more mobile while aiming down sights and improves target acquisition. Pair that with deadly Headseeker and you’ve got a weapon that’s really forgiving with its body shots and hits like a truck when you finally get that headshot.

You can also for the classic Encore + Killclip combination as well. Unlike the first roll, this one depends entirely on you getting a kill first before receiving buffs. The payout is quite noticeable once you go for that second target after reloading your weapon.

PvE God Roll

When it comes to the PvE roll with this weapon, there’s only Outlaw + Incandescent. It’s the only one that makes any sense. It won’t be enough to force anyone off of the BxR Battler but at least you have reason to throw away that random Incandescent Jurrasic Green from your vault.

Encore + Golden Tricorn is also good a good combo. It’s a bit of a hassle to keep active but at least you won’t have reason to stop shooting as long as there are mobs on screen.

And that about wraps up this Jorum’s Claw God Roll guide. Don’t worry if you are having trouble getting the god roll early. Iron Banner is a week-long event and there are two more of them this season. You’ll probably get one that’s worth keeping eventually. Besides, you’ll be doing a lot of Iron Banner matches just to rank up to reset. Good luck out there, young wolves.
