Kirby and the Forgotten Land is the newest addition to the collection of Kirby games. This particular game garnered a lot of buzz ever since it got featured in the recent Nintendo Direct where it was showcased that Kirby has a new ability called Mouthful Mode.
Aside from that newfound ability which has spawned plenty of memes and fanart over the past month, Kirby and the Forgotten Land also serves as a milestone for the franchise for being the first Kirby game playable in a full 3D platform environment. All of these plus the fact that we’re already getting some high early ratings for the game, you can’t really blame Kirby fans and those who are new to the franchise to be so hyped for it.
