Game company Riot Games will be making some big changes soon to many characters in popular MOBO League of Legends in the next patch.
Lead Game Designer Jeevun Sidhu recently took to his personal Twitter account to share who is getting the nerfs, the boosts, the buffs, and other changes in patch 11.14. Akali, Karma, Malzahar, Shaco, Nocturne, and Xin Zhao will be getting nerfed in the next patch.
Darius, Garen, Graves, Ivern, Rek’sai, Taric, Seraphine, and Illaoi will be getting buffs. There is also a system buff that will be added, Dead Man’s Plate.
Champions that will get adjustments are Dr. Mundo, which will have changes on Top/jungle skew, Irelia with pro skew, Lillia with pro skew, and Tahm Kench with support/top skew.
Akali is being nerfed because she became one of the strongest picks in the mid lane and got 153 bans across the four major regions. She does have 69 percent win rate though 71 games.
The new champion, Gwen, seems to be underperforming in Eastern regions. They just do not think she is good to play. She has been seen only being chosen in Western competitive regions.
League of Legends is now available on iOS and Android devices. Patch 11.14 will be released on Thursday, July 8.
