Mario Rabbids Sparks Of Hope Hide N’ Squeak is a side quest that players should look out for once they’ve reached the second planet, called Pristine Peaks. Although the rewards for completing this quest are great, it can be challenging for some since it involves finding penguins in specific areas. So while you’re at it, here’s a rundown on all 3 penguin locations, along with some tips to easily complete the Hide N’ Squeak quest.
Mario Rabbids Sparks Of Hope Hide N’ Squeak Objectives
This quest, Hide N’ Squeak, can be unlocked once players complete the Cold Mouth of The Mountain main story quest in Pristine Peaks. Afterwards, players can visit the Pink Spark known as Regenesis. Talk to him and he will task players with finding 3 missing penguins scattered on the map. Once they are found, players are required to grab and throw them into the ship.
Mario Rabbids Sparks Of Hope Hide N’ Squeak Penguins Locations
There are a total of 3 penguins to be found in this quest. Each of them can be found easily. Below are the locations of where to find them and what to do with them once they have been found:
Penguin A
The 1st penguin can be found at the beginning of the quest. From the starting point of the subquest, head to the northwest where there is a cross bridge. Before crossing it, look at the left side where there is a huge block of ice that can be broken using the ZR trigger button and the 1st penguin can be found. Pick Up the Penguin using the A button and throw it at the boat by the lake.
Penguin B
After getting the 1st penguin, cross the bridge and pass the merchant nearby. Continue heading up to the hill on the right side of the merchant and stop in front of the entrance of the cave. From there, look at the left side and there is a tree covered in snow. Shake it using the A Button and the penguin will pop out. Catch it and throw it at the boat like what players did in the 1st penguin.
Penguin C
The last penguin is a bit tricky to get to and can be found shortly after getting the 2nd penguin. From where players cross the bridge, instead of heading uphill, turn right and follow the pathway to where the big boat is located. Head down and look for the Rabbid Pipe on the left wall. Go inside it and another pipe can be found where obstacles such as giant moveable stones and breakable blocks are found. Finally, head deep inside, and the penguin can be found but be quick in capturing it as it entices players to do a cat-and-mouse game of catch. Upon capture, return back to the main level and throw it back at the boat.
Mario Rabbids Sparks Of Hope Hide N’ Squeak Rewards
After capturing all the penguins, players must return back to Regenesis, and players will be given the following rewards:
- New Ally: Regenesis
- has Regen ability and regenerates the health of a hero by 20% for two turns. It also increases the character’s MAX HP by 15%
- 55 Coins
- 110 Star Bits
