Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is currently one of the most hip and hottest games out now on the PlayStation 5. According to a press release, Sony has revealed a massive milestone for the game, and fans are only mildly surprised by the news.
As a video game enthusiast, I can truly say that this game is worth getting and Spidey fans would love to have them on their shelves or consoles as it brings out the best of both Peter Parker and Miles Morales.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Has Sold More Than 2.5 Million Copies
Sony has recently announced that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 broke records as it has sold over 2.5 million copies in the first 24 hours of release, becoming the fastest-selling PlayStation Studios game in the company’s history.
For context, 2018’s Marvel’s Spider-Man achieved the status of “fastest-selling” with 3.3 million copies sold in three days. The Last of Us Part II achieved it with 4 million copies in three days. And God of War: Ragnarok achieved that coveted status with 5.1 million copies sold in five days.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 appears to be on pace to overtake all that in the coming days. However, we don’t know if it can maintain the pace in its opening week considering that the game is a PlayStation 5 exclusive while God of War: Ragnarok released on both PlayStation 4 and 5.

With the game currently out on sale, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 fans should have plenty to celebrate in the near future.
