The team over at 2K Games may have changed a few things in NBA 2K22, but locker codes will always be the same, no matter how much time passes by. And this year’s iteration is no different.
What is an NBA 2K22 Locker Code?
Locker codes unlock bonuses in MyTeam mode. Most codes will give out minor boons like random animations or the occasional coin multiplier. Every once in a while though, it does hand out a “chance” bonus where players have to play a little pachinko mini-game in hopes of getting good rewards like event exclusive booster packs.
In past games, codes would appear during episodes of 2KTV – a weekly source of 2K tips, event updates, and features highlighting the 2K community. These days, it seems like following the MyTEAM Twitter account is the best to stay in touch with the latest locker codes.
Oh, and don’t wait around too long before using locker codes, even in NBA 2k22, they have an expiration date. Usually, a week or so.
How to Redeem NBA 2K22 Locker Codes
The MyTeam mode is located next to My Career in the main menu. Select it to proceed.
After breezing through the MyTeam opening tutorial, you’ll find a tab labelled MyTEAM COMMUNITY HUB. Click on it, and it’ll show a brief tutorial of what’s it for. More importantly, it shows where you can redeem locker codes.
On the bottom left of the scene, you’ll find a small section called LOCKER CODE. From there, you can begin the process of redeeming codes from various sources.
At this point, you will need to enter the code precisely as it was shown on screen. The dashes are an absolute must, but the words themselves aren’t case sensitive.
Press Done, and if no errors appear after processing is finished, you can go ahead and claim your rewards. The consumables will instantly be added to your inventory. The packs, however, need to claimed and opened in the UNOPENED PACKS tab in the marketplace.

There was a third locker code that was supposed to give out either a Diamond +4 Driving Dunk Card, Diamond Shoe, Free Agent Lebron, Free Agent Russell Westbrook, or Free Agent Zach Lavine. But that one’s already expired as of 12:00 AM PT 9/12/2021.
Oh well. Missing out on one code isn’t that bad, actually. Just gives you plenty of reason to stay up to date with the latest happenings in the 2K community. And believe me, there will be many codes appearing throughout the course of the year.
NBA 2K22 is now available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
