Communion with Spirits is one of the optional side quests in Nightingale where Ludivine asks for help in fulfilling the items she needs for her ritual to find out what the Elder Eoten hunger for. This is the second part of the quest chain for the peaceful route in obtaining the Elder Eoten Heart for the Gateway to The Watch quest. Read ahead as we go through the steps on how to complete the Communion with Spirits quest in Nightingale.
How to unlock the “Communion with Spirits” quest
The Communion with Spirits quest becomes available shortly after completing the Potions for the Ailing quest from Ludivine Saint-Clair. Ludivine Saint-Clair can be found in her camp within the Swamp Antiquarian realm. Partaking in this quest is optional, but completing it will give out additional rewards, plus it leads to the quest that unlocks Holy Communion Achievement.
Acquire Ludivine’s ritual components
Talk to Ludivine and she will ask you to procure the following materials:
- x4 Cloth
- x4 Cut Gem (Amber)
- x8 Oil (Fen Bass)
Cloth can be obtained through a Refined Spinning Wheel for x2 Threads a piece. The Amber Cut Gem can be found inside gem deposits within T1 Desert Biome caves the most; look for rocks that have blue crystals on them. It can then be refined into a Cut Gem through a Refined Masonry Bench.
Fen Bass can be caught from the waters of a Swamp Biome and can then be processed into Oil through a Refined Tanning Salon or Refined Mortar Station for x2 Fen Bass a piece.
Once you have all of the items, hand them over to Ludivine to complete the quest. You will then be rewarded with the following items:
- x1 Bonfire Recipe
- x1 Grilled Fish Recipe
- x2 Fortitude Infusion (Maximum Health)
- x3 Cured Meat (Tier 1 Everheart Deer)
- x6 Refined Flour (Wheat)
