Major Realm Cards are a type of Realm Cards in Nightingale that affects the realm’s inhabitants and the NPCs that can be encountered in them. The Major Realms are also tied to the game’s main story progression. Read ahead as we go through the different kinds of Major Realm Cards in Nightingale.
Nightingale Major Realm Cards Explained
There are eight Major Cards available in Nightingale:
From the start of the game, players will be able to use the Abeyance Card where a base can be built. From the same realm, players can go to the different sites of power to obtain the rest of the Major Cards that would allow them to visit the other realms.
These sites of power are gated by the player’s gear score that is based on equipment, and the level to access the succeeding site of power increases by 10. Visiting the unlocked realms will allow players to obtain resources which will help increase their gear score and, in turn, help them progress through the more challenging realms.
To use a Major Card, it has to be paired with a Biome Card on a Realm Card Machine near Portals in order to create the desired realm.
After completing all the main realms and reaching The Watch, players will then get access to the Ascended versions of the Major Realm Cards. These realms are similar to their regular version, but the enemies that can be encountered in them are much stronger. Players who aim to get their gear score pushed higher would want to go through these Ascended realms to farm for higher tier resources and Essences.
Abeyance Card
The Abeyance Card spawns a realm that is generally peaceful and is the starting location where players can set up their main base. The Abeyance Card is given by Puck during the game’s tutorial.
Antiquarian Card
The Antiquarian Card spawns the realm which was once inhabited by the Fae long ago and only their decrepit structures remain. Using the Herbarium Card will make archaeological points of interests throughout the realm.
The recipe for the Antiquarian Card can be unlocked after defeating the Antiquarian site of power in the Abeyance realm. The Antiquarian Card can be crafted through the Simple, Refine, and Excellent Enchanter’s Focus using the following materials:

Its ascended version, the Antiquarian Ascended Card, can be crafted through the Excellent Enchanter’s Focus using the following materials:

Astrolabe Card
The Astrolabe Card spawns the realm inhabited by Calcularia and makes points of interests related to astronomy appear throughout the realm.
The recipe for the Astrolabe Card can be unlocked after defeating the Astrolabe site of power in the Abeyance realm. The Astrolabe Card can be crafted through the Simple, Refined, and Excellent Enchanter’s Focus using the following materials:

- x25 Essence Dust
Its ascended version, the Astrolabe Ascended Card, can be crafted through the Excellent Enchanter’s Focus using the following materials:

Provisioner Card
The Provisioner Card spawns the realm inhabited by the NTTC who have established their industries within the realm.
The recipe for the Provisioner Card can be unlocked after defeating the Provisioner site of power in the Abeyance realm. The Provisioner Card can be crafted through the Simple, Refined, and Excellent Enchanter’s Focus using the following materials:

Its ascended version, the Provisioner Ascended Card, can be crafted through the Excellent Enchanter’s Focus using the following materials:

Herbarium Card
The Herbarium Card spawns the realm of gardens where you will meet The Summer Court, one of the main factions in the game, who are responsible in spreading nature throughout the realms they visit. Using the Herbarium Card will make points of interests that are related to druids throughout the realm.
The recipe for the Herbarium Card can be unlocked after defeating the Herbarium site of power in the Abeyance realm. The Herbarium Card can be crafted through the Refined and Excellent Enchanter’s Focus using the following materials:

Its ascended version, the Herbarium Ascended Card, can be crafted through the Excellent Enchanter’s Focus using the following materials:

Gloom Card
The Gloom Card spawns the realm that is perpetually submerged in darkness and is inhabited by the Hermetics.
The recipe for the Gloom Card can be unlocked after defeating the Gloom site of power in the Abeyance realm. The Gloom Card can be crafted through the Refined and Excellent Enchanter’s Focus using the following materials:

Its ascended version, the Gloom Ascended Card, can be crafted through the Excellent Enchanter’s Focus using the following materials:

Hunt Card
The Hunt Card spawns the realm where all of its creatures are aggressive to anything and anyone. Within this realm, Realmwalkers can encounter apex creatures which are considered as the bosses in their respective biomes.
The recipe for the Hunt Card can be unlocked after defeating the Hunt site of power in the Abeyance realm. The Hunt Card can be crafted through the Refined and Excellent Enchanter’s Focus using the following materials:

Its ascended version, the Gloom Ascended Card, can be crafted through the Excellent Enchanter’s Focus using the following materials:

The Watch Card
The Watch Card grants players access to a public shared realm where players can go through vaults and fight against the strongest bosses inside unknown realms.
In order to get The Watch Card, progress through the story until you complete the Gateway to The Watch quest which is the final quest in the main storyline. The Watch Card does not have to be crafted and as soon as you obtain the card, you will be able to get fast travel access to it via the map.
Vault Card
The Vault Card spawns a realm that connects to a Fae vault inhabited by strong apex enemies. Players who are in the late game would want to run this card for a dungeon-crawling experience that promises good loot after completing the challenge.
The Vault Card can be purchased from The Watch or from Essence Traders. It can then be crafted using the following materials:

- x1 Lustrous Ink
- x5 T3 Essence
