Disney has now released the Obi-Wan Kenobi official trailer.
The new official trailer has finally arrived and it gives fans a taste of what is to come. It shows how Kenobi has hidden himself from the Empire and those who have hunted him like the Inquisitors, his mission of keeping Luke Skywalker safe, and a few more.
It shows a scene where Kenobi is talking with Owen Lars, the foster father of Luke, somewhat arguing about training the young Skywalker. Lars then drops this line, “Like you trained his father?”, which made Kenobi wince as if he was in pain. Of course he was guilty of what happened to Anakin Skywalker who has now turned to the dark side.
More of the action scenes were about the hunters and the Inquisitors hunting down Kenobi in a city. At the last part of the trailer, one of the Sisters warns him about not escaping the grasp of their master. It shows a scene where a certain body is being assembled with cybernetic parts and when the chest part lit up, every Star Wars fans knew who it was: Darth Vader.
On social media, a new poster image was uploaded showing Obi-Wan Kenobi and in the center, a small dark figure with a red lightsaber. It is no other than Darth Vader, which means he will be making an appearance somewhere down the line.
Obi-Wan Kenobi will start streaming on May 27, 2022 on Disney+. May the fourth be with you!
