Oxenfree 2: Lost Signals is a supernatural adventure game where choices shape the flow of the story. Set five years after the events of the first game, players follow the story of Riley Poverly as she heads back to her hometown to do some fieldwork. However, she happens to stumble upon the mysterious phenomenon and get entangled with deeper.

Oxenfree 2: Lost Signals Prologue Walkthrough
At the start of the game, we’re shown our protagonist, Riley, who finds herself passed out on the dock in her hometown, Camena. She is confused and tries to make sense of what just happened.
The game will usually have you select through two to three dialogue options throughout the game. Some of these options will have consequences that will affect the story, while most don’t and just bring about a different line. As we go through the chapters or hours, we will mark the dialogue options that are critical to the story, otherwise, you can select which option you wish to go for.
Her walkie-talkie then picks up a transmission looking for her; however, it is choppy, and the person on the other side seemed distressed and warned her about something. The transmission then cuts.
Climb up the stairs and go inside the lighthouse. Continue climbing the ladder up the tower, and you will see some sort of rift.
Interacting with this rift will expand it and show a person looking through the telescope nearby, suggesting that she has been transported back to the year 1952. Riley then talks to this person, who replies with a creepy message.
Reality then distorts, showing a vision of a group of people on the beach appearing to be doing some sort of ritual. If you have played the prequel, you’ll be familiar with this beach, which is the same beach near the mysterious cave at the start of the game.
Riley then wakes up in a shed, and someone is trying to call her over the walkie-talkie. You will meet Evelyn, an Environmental Researcher who is studying the weird phenomena on the island. Evelyn then guides Riley on how to use the walkie-talkie and tells Riley about her first job on the island, which is to install transmitters around. She then tells you to head up to the General Store to get your gear.
If you try interacting with interactable objects while you have Evelyn on the walkie-talkie, you can cut her off, and Riley will comment about the object, to which Evelyn would respond with a unique line.
