The New Cast of Persona 3 Reload
Here’s the new voice actors for the S.E.E.S. team in Persona 3 Reload:
Aleks Le as Makoto Yuki
Protagonist Makoto Yuki has gone by many names with the fanbase which is fitting for a protagonist who you can change the name of. He’s voiced by Aleks Le who also voices other Persona 3 Reload characters like Pharos and Ryoji Mochizuki. You may hear him talking to himself at times.
Typical of a Persona protagonist, Makoto Yuki is often silent only really speaking during combat. This makes his voice all the more palpable to listen to when he says the names of numerous Persona’s in the game.
Heather Gonzalez as Yukari Takeba
The popular archer girl, Yukari Takeba, is voiced by Heather Gonzalez. Previously she was voiced by Michelle Ruff in the original game. While Heather doesn’t have as many prominent roles in video game voices, you may have heard of her as Cocolia from Honkai: Star Rail and Laura Arseid from The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV.
Yukari has a young and preppy voice which is often laced with sarcasm especially when dealing with Junpei Iori. She may be generally friendly but she’s not afraid to show some bite when she feels like it.
Zeno Robinson as Junpei Iori
Zeno Robinson is the new voice of Junpei Iori. The original voice actor was Vic Mignogna who Zeno does a great job of imitating. Zeno has quite a bit of history in voice acting usually for animated shows though you may have heard him before as Dee Jay from Street Fighter 6 and Fogado from Fire Emblem Engage.
Junpei is a bit chauvinistic which can sometimes land him in trouble with Yukari and Mitsuru. However he is a loyal friend underneath his class clown facade who’s hiding a jaded outlook he occasionally lets out.
Alejandro Saab as Akihiko Sanada
The boxing heartthrob, Akihiko Sanada, has a pretty deep voice for a teenager. Appropriately, he’s voiced by Alejandro Saab who’s voiced characters with this range before. He’s got a pretty extensive history as a voice actor in both anime and video games.
Akihiko Sanada can be a bit aloof but he’s easy enough to get close to provided that you can get past his obsession with remaining in top form. This combat obsessed upperclassman packs a mean punch that can push away even the malicious shadows.
Allegra Clark as Mitsuru Kirijo
A character like Mitsuru Kirijo needs a commanding voice which is why Allegra Clark was her chosen voice actress. This was originally held by Tara Platt who is know the voice of Elizabeth for Persona 3 Reload. You may have heard of Allegra before in Fire Emblem Three Houses as Dorothea and Shamir.
Mitsuru had a very commanding voice as Tara Platt that was very mature for her age. Allegra makes her sound closer to the teenager she’s supposed to be while still remaining the air of authority she had. As heiress to the Kirijo corporation, Mitsuru is the defacto leader of the S.E.E.S. who’s given the protagonist command over combat operations in the Dark Hour.
Suzie Yeung as Fuuka Yamagishi
The timid Fuuka Yamagishi is voiced by Suzie Yeung. If you’ve played Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth in its English dub, you’ve definitely heard her as Chitose Fujinoyama. The contrast in personality between two characters she voices is pretty palpable.
Unlike the other members, Fuuka doesn’t have a combat role instead functioning as an analyzer much like Rise and Futaba was for their respective games. A shy wallflower like Fuuka would have a fittingly shy voice and demeanor.
Shinya Takahashi as Koromaru
You may be surprised to hear that Koromaru has a voice actor since he’s a dog. The barks behind this good boy is made by Shinya Takahashi who’s present in both the English and Japanese dubs.
Koromaru is very intelligent for a dog. He’s capable of fighting the Shadows and even summoning his own Persona. He’s quite emotive for a dog.
Dawn M. Bennett as Aigis
The stoic Aigis is an android who is voiced by Dawn M. Bennett. She’s got a history in voicing several characters in anime and video games. You may recognize her as the voice of female Shez from Fire Emblem Three Hopes.
Aigis isn’t the most expressive of your party members. However she’s fiercely loyal and is the main controllable party member in The Answer expansion of the original Persona 3 FES.
Justine Lee as Ken Amada
The youngest party member, Ken Amada, has a childlike voice which is provided by Justine Lee. She doesn’t have as extensive of a background in voice acting compared to others in this list but you may have heard of her in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth and Don’t Toy With Me, Miss Nagataro.
Ken Amada acts mature for his age despite liking all the things a kid his age would. He’s powerful combatant despite being so young.
Justice Slocum as Shinjiro Aragaki
The deep scruffy voice of Shinjiro Aragaki is provided by Justice Slocum. Though he’s not as gruff sounding as Grant George as Justice sounds more relaxed as Shinjiro by comparison.
Shinjiro used to be part of the S.E.E.S. prior to the protagonist’s involvement but due to mysterious reasons have left. He’s quite aloof and his delinquent nature often pushes others away.
