In a new financial report by Sega Sammy, it was announced that the total registered users for popular MMO game Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis has exceeded 9 million users globally.
Aside from the big numbers, Sega Sammy via Siliconera revealed the top performing titles for the game company. These titles include Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis and Project Sekai Colorful Stage! Feat. Hatsune Miku.
Aside from getting that absurd amount of registered users worldwide, the popular MMO has also achieved sales of 100.0 billion yen. The game company is proud to say that it has been performing quite strongly in the market, which was released globally last June 2021. It did stumble a bit for a while like speculations about getting delayed, and had a long maintenance period during the first day of release.
There were other titles mentioned in the report too like Fist of the North Star Legends ReVive, together with the rest of the top performing titles.
Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis is now free to play on Xbox One and PC via Windows 10, Steam, and Epic Games Store. Just recently, the Braver class was introduced.
