    PlayStation VR2 Headset Release Date and Price Announced

    Sony Interactive Entertainment has recently announced the official PlayStation VR2 Headset release date and price.

    PlayStation VR2 Headset Release Date and Price

    The PlayStation VR2 headset price and release date have finally been announced for this most anticipated virtual reality bundle. It will be available on February 22, 2023 and the whole bundle with a price tag of $549.99. The pre-orders for the PS VR2 headset, games, and PS VR2 Sense Controller charging station will be available late this month.

    • PlayStation VR2 Sense controller charging station
      • $49.99 / €49.99 / £39.99 / ¥5,480 recommended retail price (including tax for GBP, EUR, and JPY)
      • Players can charge the PS VR2 Sense controller through a simple click-in design, without having to connect to a PS5 console – freeing up the console’s USB ports.

    Standalone software titles like Horizon Call of the Mountain will be available for pre-orders starting this month. There will be more details at a later date.

    Pre-Orders Happening

    Players in the U.S., U.K., France, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg will initially be able to pre-order PlayStation VR2 solely through PlayStation’s online store at direct.playstation.com during the launch phase of the headset. Pre-orders will start on November 15, 2022 and starting today, they can already register for pre-orders. The orders coming from direct.playstation.com will ship throughout the week of the launch.

    Other territories mentioned above will have their PS VR2 sold at participating retailers and pre-orders starting on November 15, 2022.
