SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake features a currency called Golden Doubloons, a form of collectible used to unlock costumes as you progress through the main story. Though the Prehistoric Kelp Forest is home to only a small number of gold doubloons, some of these coins are incredibly elusive.
Read on, and this guide will tell you where to look for all the golden doubloons in the Prehistoric Kelp Forest, providing some tips and tricks along the way.
Tips: You may quickly travel to any checkpoint on the map by using the fast travel to checkpoints feature. To do this, open your world map and select on the little clams that represent various areas throughout the map.
There are 4 Prehistoric Kelp Forest Golden Doubloons in total, and here’s how to find and collect them in order:

Fast-travel to the Algae Jungle checkpoint and continue on the main path until you pass the tree log hole and the three venus fly traps, then climb the two trampolines and destroy the stacked totems in front of you as you reach the top. Then, you’ll want to glide down the stone slab and into the huge tree log on the right. Kick the tree door down first and stomp on the button to take on the surfboard challenge. A Golden Doubloon will spawn after finishing the course.

Prehistoric Kelp Forest Golden Doubloon #2
Fast-travel to the Sleeping Dorudon checkpoint and look upwards to your left and you’ll spot a floating blue cloud. Head over to that location and stomp the button to take on the Reefblower challenge.
The Reefblower will only be available after completing the Jelly Glove World map campaign.
Glide through 3 ring circles first and land on the first rock platform with 2 jellyfish. Suck them in using the Reefblower to charge it halfway. Continue gliding and do the same thing until your Reefblower is fully charged up. Lastly, glide back to the blue cloud and shoot the purple jelly to reveal the Golden Doubloon. Make sure you don’t fall, since you’ll have to restart the whole challenge from the top.

Fast-travel to the Volcano Slide Checkpoint and skid through the path. After passing through a large tree trunk, continue following the path, heading right (don’t jump on the trampoline to your right), until you reach a cut in the slide (based on the first image above). Once there, double jump and veer off to your right to bounce on the trampoline. You’ll eventually spot the Golden Doubloon up ahead afterwards.

This Gold Doubloon doesn’t require any challenge to collect once you’ve unlocked the area. Simply fast-travel to the Cave Painting Cave checkpoint, then go around the stone chair to your right and find the Golden Doubloon lying on the ground.
