It will be joining the publisher’s big PC and Xbox lineup for 2023. While the official announcement says it will be released this year, new sources have claimed it will be launching soon.
According to media outlet Windows Central, its sources believe that Redfall is targeting an early May 2023 release window. Specifically, the studio is planning to release it in the first week of May 2023. Twitter user Okami13 started this rumor claiming the same thing, and Windows Central corroborated with their credible sources.
The studio also has a plan to release an early access period for the game. It could be similar to other games with a certain special edition that offers this promo to those buying these expensive versions of the game.
Other than that information, no other details were revealed. This could be the right move for Arkane Studios by releasing the game in the first week of May 2023. Later that month would be the launch of two big games: The Legend of Zelda Tears of The Kingdom for the Nintendo Switch, and Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. Also, less competition.
Redfall is officially launching in 2023 and possibly later in early May 2023.
