THQ Nordic has recently announced that Remnant From the Ashes, the prequel to Remnant 2, is coming soon to the Nintendo Switch. The third-person run-and-gun Souls-like developed by Gunfire Games has enjoyed a good amount of time on PC (via Steam and Epic Games) and current-gen consoles.
The game will be available either digitally or physically at participating retailers.
No release date has been confirmed yet as of the writing of this article.
The game’s catchline goes as follows:
“Humanity is struggling to survive, but they possess the technology to open portals to other realms and alternate realities. Are you brave enough to travel through these portals to uncover the mystery and take back what’s yours?
Remnant from the Ashes allows players to explore dynamically-generated worlds that change per playthrough of the game. The game’s four unique worlds are crawling with monsters from left to right. They are as unique as the environment that spawned them. Slay the enemies of humanity, earn experience, grab loot, and take back the Earth from the clutches of the Root.
Your only choice is to adapt and survive – or die trying.
Remnant From the Ashes is out now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. Remnant 2 was announced during the Game Awards and is planned to launch sometime later this year.
