Word has it in the rumor mill that a new downloadable content might be coming to the popular horror video game remake Resident Evil 2 Remake.
Resident Evil 2 might get a new DLC?
The recent and popular horror remake was widely received by old fans and new players alike, but game company CAPCOM has not released any kind of information recently. Since the release of the DLC Ghost Survivors, the game company did not announce any kind of detail or any update. This could not be the case right now since there was some development.
Many fans have paid attention recently to the game on multiple platforms and they have noticed something of an odd addition. This could indicate that there is something new coming for the game and could possibly be a DLC.
After a recent update to the game, a new but incomplete achievement has appeared out of nowhere. It is actually present across all current platforms that the game is in which are PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. It appears to be a placeholder, but that could also mean that some new content could be coming as well.
The achievement has been uncovered in the files, but it cannot be unlocked by natural means. It is simply titled EN_Name and contains a placeholder image. This achievement does not give hints for what is coming next, but it does look suspicious for good or worse.
Some speculate that it is a new DLC that CAPCOM is working on, but others have dismissed it as some kind of glitch that the game company did not bother to fix. Some even speculate that this could be not a story, but just skins or something similar. Anyway, just take this with a grain of salt for now.
The full game is now available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
