Rebellion has recently announced Sniper Elite 5 and it will be released sometime in 2022.
The fifth title of the game series will be making its entrance to the gaming world in 2022. It will launch simultaneously on Xbox Game Pass, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC. In this title, the elite marksman Karl Fairburne will travel to France in 1944 to destroy Operation Kraken.
A new trailer was launched to celebrate the announcement of Sniper Elite 5. The contents in the video uses in-game engine footage.
As part of a covert US Rangers operation to weaken the Atlantikwall fortifications along the coast of Brittany, Karl makes contact with the French Resistance. Soon they uncover a secret Nazi project that threatens to end the war before the Allies can even invade Europe: Operation Kraken. It’s Karl’s mission to take out the high ranking Nazi officers and end Operation Kraken once and for all.
The locations in this game will be based from the real world locations from France in 1944. This is the largest and most immersive in the franchise’s history with the new traversal system. This offers them a better sandbox of options in taking out their targets. They can even ask a friend to help them in missions for co-operative gameplay.
There are the customization options that will allow players to adjust their rifles, other weapons and ammo to suit the mission and play style.
