Aspyr and Lucasfilm Games have announced that Star Wars Episode I: Jedi Power Battles, a classic action game from 2000, is getting a modern makeover and will be released on Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on January 23, 2025.
This updated version promises enhanced gameplay, improved models and environments, and new features for modern platforms. Players can wield their lightsabers as iconic Jedi like Mace Windu, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Qui-Gon Jinn, battling through familiar locations such as Theed Palace.
The game takes a deep dive into the evolution of lightsaber combat, offering a more immersive experience. Players will notice the subtle weight and balance differences as they wield their sabers, especially with the new metal body designs. These metal body sabers not only look stunning with their polished finishes but also provide a more realistic feel during intense duels.
