Star Wars Jedi: Survivor features five secret map upgrades that will show you where to find the vast majority of the game’s collectibles on your Holomap, saving you dozens of hours of tedious searching. However, there are many obstacles in the way of earning each map upgrade, and the game will put your platforming and puzzle-solving skills to the test.

Read on, and this guide will give you all the necessary details on how to get all Secret Map Upgrades in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

Note: It’s recommended to complete the main story first, as you get to unlock all the requirements needed, such as upgrades and abilities, to complete various tasks for each map upgrade.

How to Get the Map Upgrade: Treasures

How to Get the Map Upgrade - Treasures in Star Wars Jedi Survivor

To get the Map Upgrade: Treasures, players will need to solve the three Rumor Path puzzles located in Jedha, namely: The Path of Restoration, The Path of Persistence, and The Path of Conviction. These puzzles will require some advanced maneuvering abilities that will be unlocked throughout the game, so it’s best to complete the story campaign first.

To get the Map Upgrade: Chests that reveals Unfound Chests, Stim Upgrades, and BD-1 Upgrades, you will need to explore the Phon’qi Caverns which can be found in Koboh. However, you can’t obtain this upgrade until you’ve completed the main missions (“Rescue Zee from the Lucrehulk in Koboh” and “Locate Brother Armias in Jedha”) and unlocked several of Cal’s upgrades and new abilities, such as Force Lift and Slam and Merrin’s Charm.

To get the Map Upgrade: Upgrades, you will need to complete all of the seven (7) Jedi Chambers first and obtain the abilities hidden inside them. Then, fast travel over to the Alignment Control Center at Koboh. In there, you will see seven monitors, each corresponding to a Jedi ability from the Jedi Chambers.

If you have obtained all of the abilities, all of the monitors should turn green and you will then be able to slice the door open nearby. Inside the next room is the Map Upgrade: Upgrades which reveals the locations of all Perks, Perk Slots, and Skill Points all throughout the maps in the game.

To unlock the Map Upgrade: Seed Pods that reveals the locations of all the Seed Pods, you must first recruit Pili Walde who can be found in the Blustery Mesa in Jedha. You will have to plant ten (10) different kinds of plants from all the seeds that you gather in the field as you play.

To get the Map Upgrade: Databank, progress through the story until you reach the Central Command of the II-0810 Satellite Station in Nova Garon. Once you are inside the Central Command, make your way to the control room and access the terminal to get the map upgrade. This will reveal all of the Unfound Databank entities all throughout the maps in the game.
