Electronic Arts’ upcoming video game Star Wars Jedi Survivor just got rated on a popular American rating site just before the launch.
The official American Entertainment Software Rating Board or ESRB has now revealed its entry of the upcoming video game Star Wars Jedi Survivor and got it rated. According to the website, the upcoming sequel has been rated T for Teen.
The entry states that it will have mild language and violence, which is true since it was evident in the new trailer and the original game. The rating summary actually describes much of the violent scenes that could occur in the game like using the lightsaber to slash and break apart alien creatures, droids, and humanoid enemies.
Check out the full rating summary below:
This is an action-adventure game in which players assume the role of an outlaw Jedi on the run from the galactic Empire. From a third-person perspective, players explore alien planets while using their Jedi powers to traverse environments and battle enemies in melee-style combat. Players use lightsabers to slash and break apart alien creatures, droids, and humanoid enemies. Combat is fast paced, with cries of pain, impact sounds, and large explosions. Some sequences depict characters getting impaled through the chest. The words “a*s” and “bastard” are heard in the game.
Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order mainly has various violent scenes since the main character would use a lightsaber in battles so it would make sense that players will see some disturbing scenes. The sequel is expected to have more violent scenes too.
At least fans have been warned ahead of time.
Star Wars Jedi Survivor launches on March 17, 2023. It will be available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
