Xbox claims that Starfield has achieved a new player count milestone on its first day of full release.
Xbox boss Phil Spencer recently posted on his Twitter account revealing that Starfield has now exceeded a million concurrent players across all platforms at the end of its first day of full release. He adds, “Thanks to all the players who helped us reach this great milestone and congrats to Bethesda Studios.”
In early access, it already impressed a lot of players who might have recommended their friends to try it out and purchase it on launch. This could have paid off due to the big numbers right now. Last week, it had a concurrent peak on Steam of 234,502 alone. It has now risen to 269,177 after full launch. This means the rest of those numbers come from Xbox consoles.
Starfield is out now on PC and Xbox Series X/S.
