Raised Enlightened is one of the traits in Starfield, and it is also one of the religious factions in the game. Players who pick this trait align themselves with the Enlightened Faith, a religious group that believes in using scientific advancement as a way to culminate humanitarianism throughout the Settled Systems.

To align with the Enlightened Faith, you must pick the Raised Enlightened trait during the character creation screen at the start of the game. Doing so will lock you out from picking the Raised Universal and Serpent’s Embrace traits. Once you have picked the trait and started the game, you will be able to interact with fellow Enlightened with special dialogue options, as well as get access to their chest.

Where to find the House of the Enlightened Chest?

One of the perks of being aligned with the Enlightened Faith is you get access the House of Enlightened Chest which contains some items that can help you get a boost in the early game.

As the name suggests, the House of the Enlightened Chest is located within the House of the Enlightened which is in New Atlantis, in the planet Jemison of the Alpha Centauri System. As you land in Jemison, take the transit to MAST District, then take the elevator to The Well. You can then navigate to the House of the Enlightened and find the chest next to the circle of chairs.

Most of the books will provide you with some lore about the Enlightened Faith, while the rest are simple consumables. The Settler Poncho Outfit can be a good starter apparel as it provides +10 Health.
