Steam is currently experiencing downtime right now. Players worldwide are affected with many being unable to play multiplayer games and even offline mode doesn’t work.
There’s currently no news on Steam’s official account on X (formerly known as Twitter) regarding this downtime. We have no clue when their servers are going back online. This downtime was not forewarned so players currently playing any online games were kicked out.
Looking at the official status of Steam, the Steam downtime seems to be affecting everyone worldwide. If you’re worried that you’re the only one experiencing issues, then you can take comfort in the fact that this seems to be a problem everyone is having, us included.
