Microsoft officially announces the Stellar Shift Special Edition Wireless Controller today.
According to a new post on the Xbox Wire, the Shift Special Edition gets a new addition, the Stellar version. The first two versions were the Aquashift that inspired the deep sea while the Lunar Shift was inspired by the aura of the moon. The Stellar Shift controller features a striking color shifting blue-purple shimmer that gives it a mesmerizing feeling of deep space vibes.
The controller has textured grips on the triggers, bumpers, and back case, providing a better hold of the controller. It also has a hybrid D-pad that gives the controller a familiar input for players. It has a Share button for video and screenshots. It can be used for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PC and mobile devices with Bluetooth technology with the latter two.
The special feature for this controller offers a unique dynamic background that can be unlocked after connecting the new controller to the Xbox Series X/S console. The price for this controller is $69.99 USD MSRP.
