THQ Nordic has recently announced that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin is now in the works.
Earlier this year, it was revealed that a TMNT game based on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin comic. Today, it was announced during the THQ Nordic Digital Showcase that the game is officially in development.
TMNT: The Last Ronin was originally a comic book mini-series that got published in 2020. It is set in the future that featured all Turtles except one have been killed by the Foot Clan and that survivor is now on a revenge mission to kill the grandson of Shredder.

Who is the Last Ronin? In a future, battle-ravaged New York City, a lone surviving Turtle embarks on a seemingly hopeless mission seeking justice for the family he lost. From the minds of the creators of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and based on the best-selling comic book event by Eastman, Waltz, Bishop, Delgado, and the Escorza Brothers: the official video game adaptation of TMNT: The Last Ronin.
It has been known that the Last Ronin is Michelangelo who now carries all of the weapons that his dead brothers used in the past.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin still has no release date but it will be coming to PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
