Director Glen Schofield recently shared new The Callisto Protocol gameplay video.
The gameplay trailer was recently revealed and it shows more gore and blood. The level of detail is much higher compared to Dead Space with bone, muscle tendons, and more can be seen appearing out of the monsters that are wandering around Black Iron, which is the setting of the game.
Courtesy of media outlet Game Informer, a slew of short clips shown in an interview with Schofield featured some scenes in the game. The first one showed the protagonist going down a stairs and gets suddenly attacked by an abomination and was constantly pounded with fists and arms. It was quickly dispatched after the protagonist found a way to get away. He uses a very awesome shotgun for this fight.
Most of the gameplay scenes feature the shotgun, which seems to be showcased here. It shows how powerful its firepower in a certain close range. One enemy that was seen crawling towards the protagonist was completely obliterated with the shotgun’s awesome firepower. It seems this will be one of the powerful and most used weapon in the game.
The Callisto Protocol launches on December 2, 2022 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
