The Expanse A Telltale Series Trophy Guide & How to Get Platinum

The Expanse is the latest game from developer Telltale Games, creators of the Walking Dead Telltale Series and The Wolf Among Us. The Expanse is based on the Slyfy/Amazon television series of the same name. It follows the story of Camina Drummer as she makes the hard decisions amidst mutinies, pirates, and the constant threat of deep space.

In this The Expanse A Telltale Series trophy guide, we’ll tell you what you need to know to help you on way to getting the platinum for the game. Being a Telltale series game, you’ll be expected to make difficult choices with far-reaching consequences. There will also be QTEs (Quick Time Events) to test your reflexes and even those have consequences of their own.

There are 31 trophies to collect in the game. Many of these trophies are connected to decisions Drummer makes. While others are the results of her actions that include the player’s input commands.

    • 1 Platinum trophy
    • 4 Gold trophies

The Expanse A Telltale Series is comprised of 5 episodes. According to the game’s official website, the game covers major points from Season 1 of the show with a few liberties here and there but will remain faithful to the source material. From what we can tell, you can get a good chunk of the trophies by completing episodes with all the Data Logs and Scavenge items.

Data logs and Scavenge items are collectibles you find while roaming the area. You need to be a little more careful here since progressing the story will make you move on to the next scene. If we’re going by Telltale games’ logic, they won’t be hard to find but expect to make some unsavory choices to get at some of them.

Keep a close eye on action-specific trophies. You’ll want to get those out of the way first before going for the No Belter Left Behind Gold trophy. There will be some choices that’ll result in a crew member’s death. But if memory serves, you can make the choice, get the trophy, and restart the chapter again. Though it’s better to let things play out in case another trophy is locked down that path.

It’s not possible to keep every single crew member alive throughout the series. It’s just the nature of how things go when pirates and mutinies in space are concerned. The No Belter Left Behind trophy must be taking into account all key characters whose death can be prevented. The Brother’s Reaper, Heal Thy Medic, Miraculous Maya, Khan’s Revenge, and Call it Even Silver trophies should give you a hint of who gets to stay alive all the way to the end.

And that’s everything we have right now for this The Expanse A Telltale Series trophy guide. Telltale games don’t usually take very long to finish, regardless of the choices you might make (or fail to make). It might be in your interest to go through the story once and then pick and choose the fates of everyone involved as dictated by which ones get you a trophy. Happy hunting, trophy hunters.

The Expanse A Telltale series is out now on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (via Epic Games Store).
