Show organizer Geoff Keighley recently posted on social media that the upcoming awards event The Game Awards 2020 will be featuring playable demos of upcoming new titles.

Keighley revealed on his official Twitter account that during the awards night, everyone will get to see playable demos of upcoming titles. They will get to see upcoming games that could interest the audience in buying in the future.

Next week we're excited to have another #TheGameAwards Festival with playable first-look demos at upcoming games.

Last year, many studios showcased their playable demos on the awards night before the global pandemic hit. Now they are continuing the tradition to bring more stuff for the audience to check out. Most of the playable demos last year were available on PC via Steam so it could be possible this could be happening this year. There will be a sale on Steam as well during the event.

In related news, Uncharted star Tom Holland and Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder will be present during the awards night.

The Game Awards 2020 will start on December 10.
