The Last of Us Part II Guide – Where To Find A Missable Side Holster

Being able to switch weapons on the fly can be a difference between life and death. In the Last of Us Part II, Ellie can’t really switch small arms as quick at first without an additional holster. And if you don’t do some exploring, you may find yourself missing it entirely.

During Ellie’s time in Seattle, she’ll get a chance to explore a section of the city at your leisure. It’s then that you can find this holster hidden in the map. First, go in the courthouse between 5th and 6th AVE, you’ll eventually be heading there since it’s necessary to find gas in the place. But across the courthouse facing Spring ST, you’ll find a coffee shop named Ruston Coffee. Break the windows to get inside.

Inside, just continue exploring further and you’ll eventually be faced with the comfort room of the shop. To save you a jump scare, there is an infected that will pop-up in one of the stalls that may startle you. There’s only one of it, so it isn’t a problem. At the end of the room, you’ll find a key for the pet store.

The pet store is located between 5th and 6th AVE, and you’ll need this key to enter around the back inside the alleyway. It’s an old base of operations for the WLF and you’ll still find some stuff that you can use in the room. Towards a room deeper inside, that’s where you’ll find the holster you can use to store your other sidearms.

What’s the point of this holster? Well, if you don’t have it, you’ll have to switch weapons manually costing you a few seconds. May not seem like much, but in an intense moment, those short few seconds can save your life. If you don’t take the time to explore the map of Seattle, you may find yourself regretting it a bit.
