Two Big Xbox Games Reportedly to be Absent at Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase 2022

With the recent status of these two games, it could be possible.

A new report claims that two big upcoming Xbox Games are going to be absent at the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase 2022.

The upcoming Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase is going to be one of the biggest events Xbox will be hosting this year and it will feature a lot of triple A games and more. There have been a few leaks here and there, but Microsoft has been keeping their mouths shut and have not given any hints of what to expect. However, there is now a new report about two anticipated titles that might not be showing up for this year.

Journalist Jeff Grubb recently reported that the new Fable and Perfect Dark will not be showing up at the show. Even Grubb was not able to pry out more details about the reason for these titles not being present during the show as Xbox has not given any clues at all. This could not be true and the developers might share a small clip during the event, but this is the only “leak” Grubb could find out from the event.

Fable is currently developed by Playground Games, makers of the Forza Horizon series. It is plausible that they could not be present during the upcoming showcase since it is quite a different genre they are developing from their usual titles. They might not have anything to show at all.

Perfect Dark is developed by The Initiative and was recently partnered with Crystal Dynamics to help with the project. It seems there have been some issues in development, but that has not been confirmed by the dev team. With the recent changes of their team though, it could be plausible that the game’s development has been slowed.

Take this with a grain of salt for now since both development teams have not shared any statement to confirm this.
