Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot recently spoke in an earnings call today revealing that the company will be showing on at E3 2023 if it ever happens.
“If E3 happens, we will be there and we will have a lot of things to show,” says Guillemot (via VGC). It was unclear why he was hinting that E3 2023 might not happen this year at all. This could be due to the report that the big three gaming companies are not joining. These three companies are Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo.
Ubisoft has already declined to comment on their CEO’s “interesting” statement about the upcoming expo.
The game company has been always present in every E3 event throughout the years. It had not missed a show for the last 20 years so when E3 2023 was announced, of course, it was going to attend.
E3 2023 was officially announced to start on Tuesday, June 13, and until Friday, June 16, 2023. ReedPop has also taken over running the expo this year.
