FatShark Games has recently announced Warhammer 40K Darktide delayed for a few months.
The developers recently took to the game’s official Twitter account to announced that upcoming video game Warhammer 40K Darktide will be delayed for a few months. It was their conscious decision to move the launch date of the game for the PC on November 30, 2022. The Xbox Series X/S version will be released after the launch on PC with its specific launch date announced at a later time.
CEO and Co-Founder of FatShark Games Martin Wahlund was the one to share this update on Twitter and shared his sentiments of delaying a game. He thinks delaying a game is one of the most difficult decisions to make a developer has to make and admits they are not excited on making such a decision. He still does hope that this would be evidence of their commitment to deliver a high quality game to the fans.
Wahlund thanked the fans for the feedback on the game so far and with these they would use it to improve the stability, performance and to mature key systems of the game.
Warhammer 40K Darktide will now launch on November 30, 2022 for PC with Xbox Series X/S to follow later on.
