Enshrouded has been one of the top-selling games to date, despite being in its early access phase. Thanks to its diverse gameplay mechanics, this survival crafting action RPG has surged in popularity. Unfortunately, not all platforms support it just yet, which means a lot of players, especially those on PS5 and PS4, aren’t getting in on the action just yet.
Considering how little is known at this time, let’s discuss whether or not Enshrouded is coming to PS5 and PS4.
Is Enshrouded coming to PS5 and PS4?
- Enshrouded developers, Keen Games, have confirmed in their Steam FAQ page that they will eventually bring the game to PlayStation 5 once it fully releases.
- Currently, there is no word on when Enshrouded will be available for PlayStation 4.
Note that Enshrouded is currently only playable on PC via Steam as an early access title. But will it make its way to PlayStation in the end? This subject has already been addressed in the Steam game FAQ by Keen Games.
The game will be released in Steam Early Access first. We will eventually bring the game to other platforms (namely, PlayStation 5 and Xbox X|S) and storefronts, after completion.
The platforms mentioned above are specifically new-gen consoles. This means that it’s more unlikely that seeing Enshrouded on PS4 or any other old-gen platform is looking less and less likely. That being said, the current plan from Keen Games is to take out the game from Early Access within a year, expand support to new platforms, and then release it for PlayStation 5 and Xbox series X|S.
