Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Domizuin Shrine Guide

The Domizuin Shrine is among the various shrines that can be found on the Hyrule Surface in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. This shrine is all about a puzzle called “A Prone Pathway,” where Link will have to manipulate a cage in order to reach the center of the shrine.

Read ahead as we go through the steps in order to solve the A Prone Pathway puzzle of the Domizuin Shrine in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

    Domizuin Shrine Location

The Tears of the Kingdom Domizuin Shrine is located in Akkala Bridge Ruins, Hyrule Surface with coordinates 3307, 1446, 0425. The nearest tower is the Ulri Mountain Skyview Tower.

    Domizuin Shrine Walkthrough

To solve the Domizuin Shrine, you will have to rotate a cage in different ways to find a path that you can take to reach the top of the shrine.

First off, use Ascend on the first column to reach the next platform upward.

You will then see an outside rotator that controls the rotation of the cage up ahead. The arrow on it indicates how the cage will rotate. You can strike the outside rotator once to rotate the cage with one of its openings facing you.

Another rotator on a platform is within the cage; this platform is not attached to the cage, so it is not included during rotations. Before hitting this rotator, go to the corner of the cage where the short pillar is and climb it using Ascend. There is a chest on top that contains arrows, which will be useful later.

Now hit the center rotator once, then head to the hole in the floor that is close to a platform outside. This platform is connected to a chest that contains a Zonai Charge. Climb back into the cage using Ascend.

Next, hit the center rotator again three times, and it should allow you to access another chest within the cage as the cage rotates. This chest contains a Strong Zonaite Shield.

After looting the chest, you should see the rotator that is outside the cage again. Shoot the outside rotator with an arrow once, then hit the rotator in the middle three times. The longest column in the corner of the cage should now be upright.

Finally, go underneath the column and use Ascend to climb up and out of the cage. From here, you can simply head to the statues to receive your Light of Blessing and complete the shrine.

That’s how to solve the A Prone Pathway Puzzle in the Domizuin Shrine; you’re now one step closer to completing all 152 shrines in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. You can go to our other shrine guides to collect more Lights of Blessing:
